COLD PREPARATION
Take required quantity of gum powder for preparation of stock paste and add slowly under vigorous stirring. Care should be taken to avoid formation of lumps. Add acitic acid to bring down the pH 6.5. For complete swelling of gum particles keep stock paste for 10 min.
